David became the youngest player ever to play for the Club when he came on as a substitute against Port Vale in August 2003 aged just 16 years and 44 days.
He is another of the youngsters to get his chance with the First Team at Victoria Park, as Danny Wilson utilized his undoubted pace most usually in substitute appearances.
The talented youngster scored his first senior goal for the Club with an unstoppable effort against Rotherham United in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in 2006, and went to score a memorable brace against Scunthorpe in the Carling Cup last term.
David signed a new contract with the Club in the summer of 2007 to commit his immediate future to Pools.
