Playing For Success Award Winner
The Pools Study Support Centre took part in a recent awards ceremony held to honour the top performing students in the town.
The Celebration of Success event has been held annually to reward and showcase the achievements and talents of the finest students in each of the local Secondary Schools.
This was the first year that the Pools Study Support Centre was also invited to present an award at the ceremony.
Having worked with over 150 Secondary School students last academic year, it was a difficult decision to pick out our 'Playing for Success' Student of the Year.
After careful consideration we were delighted to reward Reece Winspear of St Hild's School for his excellent work in the Study Centre at Victoria Park.
Reece has completed two 10 week courses with us recently, achieving 100% attendance and being recognised for the best literacy performance on both occasions.
He has been an inspiration to others, a good team player and performed professionally when interviewing Peter Beardsley at last year's official opening of the new classroom.
Well done to Reece and we wish him well with the continuation of his studies at St Hild's.
