James Brown has picked up his fourth award in a week after being named Hartlepool Mail Player of the Year.

The tricky forward outpaced his team mates when it came to the local paper's pick.

Brown was at The Vic this week to pick up his award - presented to him by Mail Editor Joy Yates.

Brown was voted Young Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and Junior Poolies Player of the Year at the Club awards ceremony last week and was delighted to cap it off with a fourth,

"I'm delighted to have picked up another award - it's always good to receive recognition like that," Brown told the Official Website.

"I have been reasonably pleased with how I played last season and hopefully I can kick on and do even better next year."
