"I thought we had a lot of the ball against Millwall on Saturday but without really creating any chances or causing them problems. We kept it well in the middle third but we struggled to penetrate them and get ourselves a goal. It was very frustrating, especially given the fact we knew that's the way Millwall would play and we worked on trying to break them down during the week in training."

"It's just about trying to finish as strongly as we possible can now and trying to get our own personal form going so that we're in good spirits come the start of next season. It's nice that we're playing against teams who are going for promotion as that puts a little bit of an edge on the game and we can go and try and pick them off and get some points on the board."

"They've had some good results this season and have been doing well of late. Not many teams go there and get results but we're confident that we can put in a performance and get a result. It's frustrating that we're talking about bouncing back from defeat again because we've just not been able to put a run together this season and be as consistent as we were last year."

"It's great for the Club and the town that England are going to be playing at The Vic. It's always nice to get games like this at the ground and hopefully some of the people who come to the game will enjoy themselves and come back to Victoria Park more often."

"The pitch still looks really good now despite almost a full season of football on it. Not a lot of pitches round the country stand up to the amount of games and look as good as ours does at this time of year. Ever since I've been here it's always been like that - though we don't like to let the Groundsman Dave Brown know we think that! Most of the lads tell him it looks rubbish just to try and get his back up!"

"Michael Mackay has learnt another magic trick this week and has been showing off to the lads. It involves him biting a 50p piece in half and I have to say it's pretty good. I think he just goes to the shop every now and then to get a new trick and then tries it out on us! I'm expecting a few new ones this weekend as he usually learns some for a long away journey!"
