Young Fan Delighted With Ritchie Souvenir
When Pools fan Calum Bratt signed up to become Ritchie Humphreys Online Sponsor last season, little did he think that he'd end up with his favourite player's actual match-worn boots.
As part of the Online Sponsorship deal, supporters are given the opportunity to ask their player three questions, which will then be answered by the player on an exclusive DVD.
Calum made the most of his three questions, taking the opportunity to ask Humphreys if he could have a pair of his boots at the end of the season.
And Humphreys was only too pleased to oblige, handing over a pair of his signed match boots to the ten-year-old St Cuthberts' pupil.
When Calum came down to The Vic to pick up the boots, he was clearly delighted,
"I was watching the DVD and I couldn't believe it when Ritchie said I could have his boots," Calum told the Official Website.
"I know a lot of people will have wanted his boots and I'm over the moon that he's given them to me - he's my favourite player."
And Calum's mum Debbie was keen to thank Humphreys for handing over his boots,
"I'm delighted for Calum - you should have seen his face when he saw the DVD!
"Ritchie is so good with the fans, he's a lovely bloke and we're all over the moon that he won all of those awards last week as well."
