Five German football supporters made the trip to The Vic on Friday 18^th January to see Pools take on Cheltenham Town.

And, although the result didn't go to plan, the five enjoyed their trip to Victoria Park and took their good memories back home.

One of the German supporters, Andi Nowey also wrote an article about his experiences which was published in his regional sports newspaper, SportBlick.

Mr Nowey told us, "Unfortunately Hartlepool lost the match?.but we like Hartlepool and Victoria Park a lot and were impressed with the welcome we got."

Mr Nowey and his friends enjoyed their visit to The Vic so much, they are hoping to make a return trip for another game in the future.
